It’s a command plugin—run it from Extensions → Motion Manager, or search via the command search / Command Palette. The dialog is non-modal, so it can stay open while you animate.
Confirm the plugin folder is placed directly under your Cinema 4D plugins/ folder (not nested one level deeper), then restart Cinema 4D.
Switch the Timeline to Automatic Mode before using key tools (Get/Set, Align, Scale, Clean).
In F-Curve-style selection, the track itself may also need to be selected in the timeline hierarchy—not just the key.
If your timeline is set to “Only OM Selection”, tracks whose objects are not selected in the Object Manager can be skipped.
Get Ease reads only the first key group it finds, even if multiple curves have selections. If you need a specific curve, deselect other curves first.
Avoid it. Get Ease expects a non-zero time span; select at least two keys with different times.
If the selected keys are flat (no value change), Get Ease may exit without feedback.
Typically no. Set can remove keys strictly between each targeted pair so the segment matches the template.
Set applies the template to each adjacent pair (key1→key2, key2→key3, …). Because each pair can clean interior keys, overlapping segments can interact—expect best results when selecting the specific endpoints you intend to shape.
The template must have a non-zero vertical range (first and last knot Y must differ). A flat template results in no change and no log entry.
On first run, Motion Manager creates writable files under Cinema 4D’s startup write path: {GeGetStartupWritePath()}/plugins/Motion Manager/.
It restores the three preset JSON files (Ease/Bounce/Elastic) but does not overwrite your apply history log.
Successful applies (Set) are recorded so you can restore the last-used curve/parameters into the editor later.
Re-applying the same mode with identical data can merge into the newest entry and increment an apply counter.
Use the dialog menu Language → English / 日本語. The dialog will close and reopen to rebuild labels.
