Gemgen Lite is the affordable entry edition that includes the Round cut only. The Full edition includes all 10 cut types (Round, Cushion, Emerald, Oval, Pear, Marquise, Heart, Trillion, Baguette, and Rose) plus a ready-to-render sample scene. Lite owners can upgrade to Full by paying only the price difference on Superhive.

Blender 4.0 or later. The add-on is developed and tested on Blender 5.0.

Yes. Gem meshes generated with Gemgen are cleared for commercial use — jewelry visualizations, product renders, game assets, motion graphics, and similar projects are all fine.

Yes — all Gemgen properties are keyframeable, so you can animate cut type changes, size, proportions, and more for motion graphics workflows.

It resets the crown, pavilion, table, and size parameters to balanced, jeweler-standard ratios optimized for the current cut type. This is also applied automatically when you change cut types.

When enabled, coplanar triangle facets are merged into clean N-gon faces for a tidier mesh. This can be slower on complex cuts. Baguette is quad-only by default and is not affected by this option.
